Description:A remarkable specimen of solid, laminated brucite! This old-timer is unusually translucent and has pearlescent lustre. This specimen is notable for the locality and is a displayable, somewhat attractive piece as well. Material from this long extinct locale was probably mined in the mid to late 1800's. These specimens often are dear to collectors of antique US minerals and localities. Ex Mullane Collection and comes with an older, faded, Bourget Bros. label. Valued at $750-ish for rarity and quality.
