Description:A 7.0 x 2.2 cm, morganite grading into an aquamarine crystal is sandwiched in vuggy, sculptural, etched albite matrix on this classic and uncommon varietal from the famous White Queen Mine. The gemmy and lustrous morganite portion has sharp faces and has a pretty pastel-pink color. The aqua portion is a translucent, pastel-blue. This is old-time, seldom available material from the 1950s or 60s and comes from the Maury Morgenstein Collection, an old-time San Diego miner. valued $900-ish
