Description:"Teis spheres" are well-known in Europe as basaltic geodes filled with well-crystallized minerals. This elongate, sculptural vug in LARGE CABINET basalt matrix has a basal lining of pretty, light purple amethyst. The segmented vug is filled with glassy datolite balls and calcite crystals. Showy and excellent large material from this noted locale from the Wein Collection, # 8634.. rare!
