Description:An aesthetic and excellent mounded fluorite specimen from the recent, very highly touted finds at Riemvasmaak, South Africa. Gemmy and lustrous, unique grass-green fluorite octahedrons are piled high on this showy piece. The crowning glory is a 3.2 x 2.8 x 2.5 cm octahedron, with only a trivial bit of lower corner edgewear. This dramatic specimen displays very well on three sides. A side is contacted and modest periphery wear is noted. This remains a highly representative example of the species and locale. These are contemporary classics. The color is INTENSE, deep green, very nice!
