Description:A wonderful and showy cluster of lustrous, translucent, honey-brown fluorite cubes beautifully accented with white celestine blades from the famous quarries at Clay Center, Ohio. The striking, large cube is 4.4 cm and all of the cubes have gemmy corners. The few, barely cleaved corners are hardly noticeable and certainly do not impact the overall visual quality of this fine piece. Nice brownish-white fluorescence. This piece, dating prior to World War II, is from the John Grieger Collection, a well-known California dealer and collector. Valued $800.
