Description:A dramatic and excellent specimen from the less well-known Turt Mine of Romania. Bright, metallic-gray, galena crystals, in clusters and as discrete crystals are aesthetically scattered on the sharp, complete all-around quartz crystals. Sparkly, light brown, siderite microcrystals preferentially coat much of the quartz crystals. Very nearly pristine, with only very modest periphery wear at the base. Outstanding material from this ancient mine. Ex Robert Whitmore Collection.
