Description:A striking and aesthetic cluster of variable length, rounded malachite stalactites and botryoids set on an arched, botryoidal malachite matrix from recent finds at Kolwezi, Democratic Republic of Congo. A trivial bit of periphery wear is noted, but is certainly not a detraction. The malachite has scintillating lustre and a very dramatic sculptural aspect. The large curved "finger" stalactite is dramatic.
