Description:Botryoidal green mimetite from Mina Ojuela is so distinctive, when compared to most any other worldwide locale. This fine, large piece features a sculptural wall covered with pretty apple-green botryoids on a sturdy gossan matrix. The mimetite has a silky lustre and is translucent. A trivial bit of periphery wear is noted, but is certainly not a detraction. Classic and excellent materal from this historic locale, from a small series of finds in 2006-2007. This is a super specimen we had sent out for trimming a tthe time, and then lost in teh warehouse on its return or it would hav ebeen sold by now. Valued $750-900
