Description:A dramatic, intergrown cluster of splendent, cuboctahedral galena crystals is expertly perched on matrix of quartz and smaller galenas on this aesthetic specimen from the famous Blackdene Mine at Weardale. The galena is complete all-around and pristine. Classic and most excellent material from this noted locale. Ex Howard Belsky Collection. Howard started as a mineral dealer at age 13 in 1972, became a sophisticated dealer and died tragically at age 28 in 1987. His collection recently became available to us through his family.
