Description:A striking and aesthetic combination specimen from the long extinct Park City District of Utah. This classy piece features a mounded cluster of sharp, lustrous, tetragonal, tetrahedrite crystals. One side is richly covered with bright, brassy, pyrite mircocrystals, but the coup de grace is the complete all-around and pristine pyrite cluster capping the specimen. The cap is a stunning addition. Complete all-around, a bit of periphery is noted on one side, but is nearly invisible in the two primary display views. Seldom seen material from this noted locality and even rarer, as the particular mine is even known! This is a very fine old-timer from this district. Ex Jaime Bird Collection.
