Description:Glassy, color-zoned, fluorite cubes with intense purple faces and striking etching are jauntily set on matrix covered with smaller, colorless fluorite cubes on this showy specimen from the ancient mines at Laurium, Greece. Micro plattnerite needles are noted on one side of the piece near the base of the larger, color-zoned fluorites. Plattnerite is an uncommonly displayed species from this historic locale.
