Description:Lustrous, translucent, light amber, blocky calcite rhombs to 3.8 cm are nicely set atop a sea-green, CABINET-SIZED cleavage fragment of massive fluorite with a bit of matrix. The calcites are good, darned good considering the locality; but the combination of such sharp crystals on this perch is killer! This showy piece hales from an uncommon Washington state locality at Keller. Excellent purple fluorescence. Ex Dennis Mullane Collection. Old material
