Description:This emerald crystal will not be winning any awards or cutting fine stones, but - it is from Austria, so the specimen is significant as a locality piece. It is rather gemmy and has good color saturation. The crystal is 9mm and is well-placed on the biotite schist matrix, with one good termination. Highly representative old classic. Ex Jaime Bird Collection.
