Description:A dramatically showy and excellent CABINET combination specimen from the famous and now-closed Elmwood Mine. Splendent clusters of rubyjack sphalerite crystals are very aesthetically set on the mounded matrix covered with two generations of sparkly, gray, dolomite rhombs. The stunning, capping cluster is 5.3 x 5.0 cm. This very fine piece from the Dave Stoudt Collection displays well from three sides. The display views are essentially pristine, with only a trivial bit of periphery wear visible from the contacting on the back of the piece. This is a classic and sculptural example of the species and noted locale.
