Description:A striking spray of glassy, tan, strontianite needles from the famous Minerva No. 1 Mine. Crystals are rarer than the massive forms. Typical specimens have spiky, minute crystals in radiating aggregates or tufts, but these crystals are large for the locale, up to 4.0 cm. A few broken crystals and a bit of periphery wear are noted, but in the overall context of the species and locale, this is an excellent, older specimen. It displays well from both sides.
