Description:The famous Berg Aukas Mine of Namibia has produced the worlds finest descloizite specimens and this is an outstanding and aesthetic example. The arborescent piece consists entirely of stacked, parallel-growth, brilliant-lustre, dark brown, spearpoints. The large crystals at the terminations have striking iridescence! The beautiful clusters looks like a floral arrangement. Complete all-around and very nearly pristine, with only very trivial periphery wear. This very fine piece is a highly representative example of the species and famous locality, which closed in 1978. Showy material from the Rob Smith Collection.
