Description:Pretty, lustrous and gemmy, rose-red, rhodochrosite rhombs are richly and attactively sprinkled amongst a forest of water-clear quartz needles on massive quartz matrix on this showy and excellent CABINET specimen from Peru. This dramatic specimen is from the renowned 1970s finds at the famous Huayllapon Mine at Pasto Bueno. A highly representative large example of the combination species and noted locale. Rarely available in this size.
