Description:Isolated, sharp and lustrous, willemite variety troostite crystals (manganese-rich varietal) are nicely set in starkly constrasting calcite matrix on this classic and excellent specimen from the famed Sterling Hill Mine. The large crystal is 4.4 cm across. A bit of periphery wear is noted, but is certainly not detracting. The fabulous green-on-red fluorescence is striking.
