Description:Textbook sharp, snow-white analcime crystals of various sizes very aesthetically cover the basalt matrix on this fine specimen from an unusually, but nifty named Oregon locality - the Two Hug Quarry. The large glassy crystal is 3 cm. A trivial bit of periphery wear is certainly not a detraction as the display core is in excellent shape and the crystals are stark, sharp, and imposing. Uncommon and seldom-available material. Ex Rice Museum Collection, which is located in Oregon near Portland and holds a significant collection of northwest minerals. This is a superb US analcime, valued at $300-400.
