Description:Our Chinese sources have furnished us with another striking example of the mineral bounty of their country. This is a New Find of carved and polished jasper picture stone from a less well-known area. This striking, two-sided, LARGE CABINET, piece has two outdoor, country scenes: both sides are a meadow with shrubs and a single tree in the center, below a grayish sky. They look like paintings from Chinese murals or room dividers or like paintings by the famed Impressionist artists of the 19th century. Art in stone. The measurements include the custom-made wooden base. One of the few polished pieces we sell, because they are just so beautiful at a nice pricepoint.
