Description:A sculptural CABINET plate of solid crystallized copper is very nicely accented by a rich coating of primary malachite. Some of the malachite has the distinctive, radial growth pattern of acicular crystals. This is classic, old-time and desirable material from the famous mines at Bisbee. Ex Dennis Mullane Bisbee Collection with a 1960s-70s label. $45 was NOT cheap in those days! He thought very highly of this piece.
