Description:A golden deal from the famous Mother Lode District of California! This is a large, sculptural,river-rounded alluvial gold nugget with rich gold lustre and color. This is old-time nugget from a lot, that I purchased in 2008. The current spot price for gold is almost $39 per gram or over $1210 per troy ounce. This is 7 grams or a bullion value of over $270. Specimen value for nuggets like this is significantly more, as they are from the old California classic locale. But its a nice size and display piece for a specimen, or jewelry as well as a specimen!
