Zircon

Item Description

Zircon occurs in a wide range of colors. This stone is essentially colorless, but due to the high refractive index (as high as 2.04), really bounces the light around. This stone is nearly eye clean with a "Round Brilliant" cut. You don't see these gems on the market very often, and typically the Sri Lankan Zircons are either green or yellow. The colorless gems are sometimes used in place of Diamonds or white Sapphires as an inexpensive replacement in jewelry.
