Spinel (interesting color)

The area around Mogok has produced some of the most impressive and colorful Spinel gems extant. I have seen Spinel of every color of the rainbow from this district, and this stone is a great example of said material. This gem has a lovely pinkish-orange hue, which is not common for Spinel. The stone is nearly eye clean in clarity with a "Round Brilliant" cut. This stone would make a great addition to any suite of Spinel gems, especially if you've been looking for that perfect color gem to fill a spot in your collection to show the great range of color for the species.
