Sapphires are some of the most beloved, sought after and recognizable gems in the world. Interestingly, all shades of Corundum that are not red are considered Sapphire. This stone has an inky blue color with a slight greenish overtone. The gem is moderately included with a standard "Step Round" cut. Blue Sapphires are steadily going up in price around the globe, and stones with rich color like this one are some of the most recognizable gems out there.
