Bytownite (Feldspar)

Item Description

In the group of gem Feldspars, one of the most rare in the world is Bytownite. This stone is an attractive, well cut, "straw" color "Quantum Concave Round" cut gemstone that is very very slightly included, but looks nearly eye clean despite what the photos might indicate. It is very rare to find any faceted gems of this material, simply because most gem dealers don't carry them. This stone came from some older material and is a great stone of an uncommon Feldspar species.
