Prehnite

Item Description

Prehnite has always been a popular gem among collectors because of its lovely green color. Recently the new Prehnite discovery in Mali has produced some great cabbing and carving material. This material, when carved, has a very unique and attractive "soft" almost "velvety" appearance. This gem is pretty good size for the material, and is fairly very gemmy, which is not terribly common for this material. It has a "Round Cabochon" cut. Considering this is relatively new material, it's a great gem to fill a spot in your collection.
