Pyrope Garnet

Item Description

Pyrope is one of the more beautiful red Garnets out there. The material is only found from a handful of localities in top gem quality material. This particular stone is from North Carolina and has a very attractive, deep pinkish red color. The gem has as standard "Oval" cut and is neary eye clean The gem is actually a little darker than it appears in the photo, and I am told that the color is helped by a trace of Chromium.
