Blue Diamond

Diamonds are obviously one of the most well known gemstones in the world. They occur in virtually every color of the rainbow (including black) and are prized for the extreme durability and fire. This particular stone has a strong blue color and is only very slightly included with a standard "Round Brilliant" cut. The color in this gem is due to irradiation as many rich colored Diamonds are irradiated to enhance the color. Obviously this gem is small, but the is intense, and could fit nicely into a faceted Diamond suite. It can be said the blue is most desired color for Diamonds, natural or otherwise.
