A striking and beautiful 2.8 cm radial spray of brilliant metallic golden-bronze foil-like astrophyllite lathes is very aesthetically set in the front of the upright matrix. Densely intergrown lathes richly cover two other sides. Astrophyllite, an uncommon complex Ti-silicate, is a classic species from this famous alkaline massif, type locality for numerous exotic species. The lathes reach 1.6 cm on this impressive, rich and older piece. Valued at $350.
