An aesthetic and sculptural 360-degree hubnerite and quartz combination from this well-known Peru locality. Parallel-growth, highly lustrous, well-striated metallic-gray, terminated, tabular, hubnerite crystals are dramatically enclosed by dense jackstraw clusters of quartz points accented with tiny muscovites. A SUPER accessory on one side is the 3.2 cm, sharply terminated gem quartz crystal. There are a few small areas of classic cherry-red hubnerite translucence under bright light. Complete all-around and nearly pristine, with only a couple of bruised hubnerite terminations, which is certainly only a modest detraction. Choice and classic combination material from the Art Soregaroli Collection. Overall, a very good quality display specimen. Valued at $1000-1200.
