Item Description

A 3.0 cm, limpid, steeply terminated quartz crystal dramatically juts upward from the striking "ball" of densely intergrown pearlescent adularia crystals. Smaller quartz crystals on the adularias and the glassy quartz base adds even more presence to this very fine 270-degree specimen. The three display faces are pristine. Adularia is a variety of K-feldspar and is RARE from Arkansas. This piece came out in a major pocket in 2013. "So far they have hit a major pocket of adularia and quartz combination specimens which are unique in quality and size for North America. " See http://www.mindat.org/loc-11725.html. Valued at $1000 and comes with an engraved lucite label valued at $145, for free.
