A superlative textbook, 2.6 cm, analcime trapezohedron is dramatically perched atop sculptural matrix on this outstanding small cabinet from this Russian locale. The pristine crystal has classic porcelaneous luster with translucence. This remote Siberian zeolite locality has produced some of the world's finest and largest examples of the species, such as this one. However, few are seen on the Western markets. Ex Francesco Bedogne Collection # 1811. Dr. Bedogne, 1942-2012, was a well-known Italian mineralogist, prolific author, field collector and collector.
