Item Description

Lustrous creamed colored curved rhombs of Dolomite sit atop a layer of Quartz and are dotted by metallic golden Chalcopyrites crystals measuring up to 6 mm. Wonderful quality, and a great classic of this hard to find material. Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#3648). Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record and the 50+ page article in the German Magazine "Mineralien Welt" November-December 2017).
