Description:This mine is known for having some of the finest Turquoise in the world in terms of color, consistency and size. Thsi specimen features massived UN-polished Turquoise of the classic blue hue with minor associated sparkling golden Pyrite. A classic specimen of the famous Sleeping Beauty Turquoise dating back many decades based upon the LOW catalogue number. Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#576). Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record and the 50+ page article in the German Magazine "Mineralien Welt" November-December 2017).
