Item Description

Rosettes of copper pseudomorphs after bladed azurite crystals from the Copper Rose Mine are a desirble New Mexico classic. This very fine, 360-degree, pristine floater is colorfully enhanced by the blue-green chrysocolla and embedded white clay. Ex Kay Robertson Collection # 9826 and aquired from John Metteer in August, 1981. Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record).
