Item Description

Very interesting for those who collect mining artifacts, these are crucibles from the ancient Spanish gold mine Rodalquilar. They are old (no telling how old, but it is an ancient technique) and they were used for assaying gold at this mine. These artifacts are not spectacular, but are quite rare and unobtainable nowadays, I am told. I was told by the collector who last owned them: In the seventies, a friend brought a dozen or so of these crucibles to Belgium (obtained in the village of Rodalquilar).
