This locality is documented for its blue Topaz crystals, but they are rarely seen on the market. This piece came to us directly from Frank and Wendy Melanson from Hawthorneden, who obtained the piece directly in Brazil. It is a mostly WATER CLEAR, VERY soft NATURAL blue color orthorhombic crystal with a great good. It's in great shape all around, save a separation mark to the side of the crystal where another crystal once grew, or perhaps where it was removed from the pocket wall. There are some graceful etching marks on the lower section of the crystal as well for a nice touch. If you collect gem crystals, thumbnails or minerals of Brazil, don't miss out on this one.
