Calcite on Quartz

From a pocket found in 2007. This is a gorgeous display specimen featuring attractive compressed rhombohedra of white bladed Calcite aesthetically sitting on a fine quality, very sharp, highly lustrous, striated, GEMMY Quartz crystal. The largest Calcite measures 2.3 cm across. Very good condition overall, and somewhat difficult to photograph. I think it looks better in person, and is a great small cabinet display specimen from this contemporary classic Chinese locale. Despite the amount of Chinese specimens on the market, it's amazing how many GOOD pieces there are!
