Aurichalcite (ex Bruce J. Murphy Collection)

Item Description

An attractive Aurichalcite specimen from this well known Cu-Ag-Bi mine in southern Arizona. The piece hosts small, rich blue-green radiating aggregates of Aurichalcite with associated Hemimorphite on beautifully contrasting matrix. A good display specimen of this classic and hard to find material. You don't see a lot of specimens from the Cole Shaft on the market these days, and I honestly don't know if I've seen a piece of Aurichalcite from this locality before we acquired this piece.
