Item Description

An eye-catching and sculptural multi-color Tourmaline specimen from this most famous of localities. Tourmalines are beloved for their wonderfully colored crystals (often showing multiple colors in the same crystal), but the vast majority of them are singles off matrix. This piece has great character for a thumbnail featuring a pink and green group of sharp, gemmy, lustrous Tourmalines which play host to a DOUBLY-TERMINATED, gemmy, soft pink and green bi-color crystal sitting perpendicularly across the main group. The doubly-terminated crystal is mostly a very light pink color throughout the prism with a soft green colored basal termination on each end. For a thumbnail, you can't ask for much better aesthetics in a Tourmaline. There are literally thousands of these specimens that have come out over the years, but few thumbnails with such great three-dimensional form along with good color and gemminess.
