Calcite (rare locale) (ex Obodda)

Item Description

Despite is abundance around the world, most people haven't seen much in the way of good crystallized Calcite from Afghanistan. Were it not for the fact that the piece came directly from Herb Obodda, whom I'm certain obtained it directly from the source, I might question its authenticity. Sharp, hexagonal, soft golden crystals measuring up to 1.5 cm make up this large thumbnail sized specimen. If you collect oddball Calcites, or oddball thumbnails, or just interesting specimens from Pakistan / Afghanistan, don't miss out on this one one.
