Item Description

Most people are familiar with the extraordinary Copper specimens that show amazing skeletal forms and dramatic twinning. I consider this to be one of the most significant Copper discoveries in the last 50 years, and they have already proven themselves as modern-day classics. The quality, sharpness and dramatic crystal growth have set these pieces apart from other crystallized Copper specimens around the world. This specimen shows an arborescent and appealling well-formed three-dimensional crystal group. It actually looks like a bow and arrow if you look at the right angle!! The reddish patina on this specimen gives it an antique appearance, and truly stands out among many others that I've seen from this classic locality. The largest "Spinel"-twinned crystal flaring off if the size of the piece measures 3.6 cm long. Valued at $1800.
