Item Description

This mine has produced some of the most famous Tourmaline specimens in the world. If you collect San Diego County Tourmalines, or even worldwide Tourmalines, or just interesting minerals from the United States, this is a good piece to pick up. It's a sharp, gemmy, pink prism with slight green banding along with highly lustrous faces. It's doubly-terminated, and nearly a complet "floater" save for one tiny indentation on the basal termination. A very cool and colorful specimen from this renowned U.S. locality.
