The Hongda Mine is perhaps the most famous Silver mine in China, and has produced some of, if not the finest Silver specimens from Asia. Many people are familiar with these great wire Silvers, and this piece is a wonderful miniature with good aesthetics and balance. It features small tight intergrown groups of wires mixed on cubic Acanthite and matrix to create a very eye-catching and desirable specimen. Some of the Acanthite crystals are rather sharp for the locality. Priced at $600 in the inventory.
