Chalcocite (2 piece set)

Item Description

Chalcocite is rarely seen from the Messina Mine. We have have a lovely two piece set here with very different habits as the larger specimen features a somewhat layered / branching cluster of small, sharp, lustrous, metallic silvery-grey colored crystals and the smaller specimen distinct, broad, flat "blades". It's interesting to see such diversity in the habits, considering that these pieces were mined during the same time.
