Item Description

A hard to find specimen of the lesser known but attractive Barites from Sasso Rosso. Sharp, well-formed, very lustrous, rather gemmy, rhombohedra of white / colorless Barite measuring up to 1.2 cm on edge. The group is free of matrix, and has good overall aesthetics. Minor edge wear, but still in really good shape and a worthwhile specimen to pick up if you collect thumbnails, carbonates or European minerals.
