Item Description

There was a small pocket that produced these Tetrahedrite specimens about 10 years ago (2004), and they were some of the better quality Tetrahedrite specimens that I have seen from Bolivia. This specimen features a handful of Tetrahedrite crystals with sharp faces and good luster that are sitting on HIGHLY lustrous golden octahedral Pyrite with prismatic Quartz crystals on matrix. The Tetrahedrite crystals have small tetrahedral "hillocks" covering the faces of the which make for a unique "ripple" effect on all sides. The largest crystal group of Tetrahedrite measures 8 mm. Overall, the piece is in good condition and is a great representative specimen of this material. I have not seen another crumb of this specific material in several years, and I'm fairly certain this is the last one I have left to offer, so if you've ever wanted one, do not let this one slip away.
