Item Description

There was a small pocket that produced these Tetrahedrite specimens around 2002, and they are some of the finest quality Tetrahedrite specimens that I have seen from Bolivia. This specimen features many tetrahedrons of Tetrahedrite with VERY sharp faces and extremely HIGH luster on matrix. The crystals (the largest measuring 1.5 cm across) have some small tetrahedral "hillocks" covering the faces which makes for a very unique "ripple" effect. Additionally, associated micro beige Quartz and a tiny bit Pyrite can be seen on the piece as well. Overall, the piece is in great condition and displays beautifully from a couple angles. I have not seen another crumb of this material in several years, and this is the last one I have left to offer, so if you've ever wanted one, do not let this one slip away.
