Item Description

A very rare sample of the nickel arsenic sulfosalt Gersdorffite from the type locality in Austria. The species was first reported in the 1840s, and specimens from this locality are virtually impossible to find on the market. This specimen is filled with micro crystals of silvery-grey colored metallic Gersdorffite on matrix. If you collect rare species, you need one of these in your collection, especially if you like to like species from the type locality. This is the only piece of this material that we have to offer, and comes with a classic label from Czech mineral specialist, Josef Vajdak / Pequa Rare Minerals, which immediately increases the value.
